Guestbook Registration and Entries: When you register as a guest and send a message on our guestbook, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, mobile number, comments, photos, and any other content you include in your entry.
Account Information (if applicable): If you create an account, we collect your email address.
Communication Data: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect your name, email, mobile number, and the content of your communication.
B. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
Location Data: We do not track your geographic location.
Third-Party Data: We do not receive information about you from third-party sources.
2. How We Use the Information
We use the content you create and upload for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. This includes:
Storing and displaying your content: Content and posts are stored and displayed so that you and other guests within the guestbook can view the photos and messages.
Slideshow: The content and posts can be streamed on a slideshow by the owners and administrators of the guestbook.
Saving and Downloading: The content and posts can be saved and downloaded by the owners of the guestbook.
Exporting: The content and posts can be exported to Google Photos by the owners of the guestbook.
Contact during the event: The mobile phone number collected may be used by the owners and administrators of the guestbook to contact guests during the event.
We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose outside of the app's core functionality.
3. How We Share the Information
Your data is shared with the owners and administrators of the guestbook, as well as with other guests within the guestbook you have registered to be a part of. We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third parties.
4. Google Photos API Integration
For your convenience, our app offers an optional feature that allows you to export photos from your personal album within our app and upload them into a new, app-created album in your Google Photos account. To enable this feature, our app requests access to the photoslibrary.appendonly and photoslibrary.readonly.appcreateddata Google Photos scopes.
Data Usage and Compliance: In accordance with Google's API Services User Data Policy, we use this access to create a new album and add photos from your album to it. We do not use this access to view, edit, or delete any of your other photos or albums.
No Sharing or Sale of Data: We do not share, sell, or use any of the photos or metadata for any purpose other than providing this specific feature. The photos you export remain your property and are subject to Google's own privacy policies.
Limited Access: The photoslibrary.appendonly scope allows our app only to list albums and upload media items. The photoslibrary.readonly.appcreateddata scope allows our app to view photos and albums that it has created. We do not have permission to view, modify, or delete existing photos or albums that were not created by our app.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data Storage: Your data is stored securely on AWS, through Bubble.io.
Security Measures: We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can delete any photos and messages that you have created in the guestbooks at any time directly within the app.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13 without supervision. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
